Some of my ongoing projects include my painting practice, running weekly life drawing classes at WASPS Dundee as well as offering private tutoring, and writing in my substack. Below are some of the long term projects I’m involved with.
The MUM of DAD
Katie McGroarty created the Dundee Artists Database in 2024, to help platform artists in Dundee and have a living yellow-pages-esque document of current creativity in Dundee.
Clifftop Projects
From August 2025, Katie has been a board member of Clifftop Projects CIC, an arts charity supplying and facilitating arts for young people in West Dunbartonshire. In late 2020, Katie began working with Clifftops on their Youth Advisory Board, as well as helping with art classes. Being from West Dunbartonshire herself, Katie is excited and enthusiastic about joining the board to help make arts in West Dunbartonshire more accessible.
Generator Projects
From winter 2023 - 2024, Katie was an operational committee member of Generator Projects.
