Katie McGroarty is an artist from West Dunbartonshire, who studied Fine Art at the Edinburgh College of Art before studying an MFA at DJCAD graduating in 2022.

Since graduating her undergrad in 2020, Katie has had multiple solo shows including with Outspoken Arts Scotland, TheWallSpaceGallery and a joint solo show in Rogart Street art space, a solo in WASPS Dundee in April 2026, and a further solo in 2026 at Saltspace Gallery in Glasgow. Since 2016, Katie’s work has been featured in 30 exhibitions. Since finishing her MFA, Katie stayed based in Dundee, worked as an Exhibitions Coordinator at the Dundee Art Society, and is now on the Operational Committee of Generator Projects, Katie also founded the Dundee Artists Database in early 2024, as well as the West Dunbartonshire Creative Database, Edinburgh Creative Database, and cofounded the Scottish Wokring Class Creative Database. Katie also founded the Scottish Art Show in 2026.
